Duration: 7 – 7.5 minutes

This piece for tuba and piano challenges performers with counterpoint and syncopation.  It is episodic in structure with themes that mutate as the piece unravels.  I was inspired by contemporary classical, funk rhythms and jazz harmonies when writing this piece.
